Pre-entry Exams: All pets entering the kennel for boarding are given a pre-entry
examination. If a pet is found to have fleas or ticks we treat the
pet to remove the fleas or ticks at the owners expense prior to
placing him/her into the lodging area.
Kennel Tours:
Individual tours of Kennel Kare are available during all
hours of operation. Tours are suspended during peak boarding times because of the demands
on staff in caring for the pets during these busy days. Simply call to set up a time to
visit.
Articles Brought in W/Pets:
All articles brought in with pets will be returned clean as we frequently wash
bedding belonging to a pet guest. Please do not bring anything that can't be
washed in hot water and cleansers. Pets use articles brought in with them as
toys and chewing playthings, so please do not bring any item which you do not
wish to be chewed. Also, large cedar filled pet beds are difficult for us to
wash easily so we discourage you from bringing large beds. Kennel Kare provides
comfy bedding such as blankets to cover the floor of the suites. Items from home
might include toys, towels, small blankets, etc. for these items will contain
your household smells and make the pet feel more comfortable while at Kennel
Kare, but Kennel Kare can not be responsible for items lost or destroyed. All
items should have pets name and owners name marked clearly with permanent
marker.
Health: All pets arriving must be in good health with
vaccination records current. Any pet with signs of pest infestations
will be bathed and dipped at the owners expense. Bathing is recommended for all
pets at departing date. Any pet in the kennel in need of a bath will be "kennel
bathed" at a nominal fee. Any pet requiring medical attention will be taken to the
veterinarian. Charges will be at the owner's expense. Every effort will be taken to
contact pet owner prior to treatment.
Required Vaccinations:
Dogs - Current Rabies & DHLPP, Highly recommended Bordetella,
Corona Virus & Lyme.
Cats - Current Rabies & FVRCP, Highly recommended Feline
Leukemia.

Seasonal Rates:
Are in effect for the entire seasonal rate period. Pets with boarding reservations for
Thanksgiving & Christmas will be charged for all days reserved.

Check Out Time: If you pick up your pet before 10:00 A.M. on
Monday-Saturday you will not be charged for that day. If your pet departs with a bath on the day out you will have an extended check-out time till Noon. For our client's convenience we are open
4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, but you always pay for your Sunday board.
Boarding charges are calculated similar
to human hotels; you are charged for a full day the day the pet checks
in, our check out time is 10:00 A.M. A full day of boarding
charges are due
after 10:00 A.M.
Multiple Pet Discounts: Sharing Same suite Will Be 30% Off Applied To
The Smaller Pets Pet Day Rate We reserve the
right to decline service for any pet we feel is not a good candidate for the
boarding or grooming environment experience.
After Hours Service
In order to better serve our clients, we offer "After Hours
Service". This service allows clients to make special arrangements
to drop off or pick up their pet from boarding at the kennel outside
of our regular hours of operation. The charge for this service is
$25.00. After Hours arrangements MUST be made in advance at our
discretion. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day the after
hours service charge will be $50.00.
Pick up and Delivery Pick up and/or delivery with a minimum of $25 each way, call
for pricing in your area.
Airport Services We offer a complete door to door service for families
relocating into or out of Dallas/Fort Worth Metro Area. We will handle your pet every step
of the way to ensure a safe and happy air shipment. Shipping crates, health certificates
and airline arrangements are all part of this service. Please call for details and price
